SomEV is the world’s first wait-less electric vehicle network, bringing electric transportation to the masses. By developing a Smart Battery Swap Kiosk that can charge, store, and monitor battery packs, SomEV has eliminated a huge barrier to electric transportation adoption locally. Like their product and service, It was incredibly important that their brand also be accessible and approachable to a wide audience. This was achieved by using soft, rounded typography and a bold, energizing palette. The pin icon incorporates an electric bolt to represent the concept that wherever customers are, they will always be fully charged. The base of the pin icon was used to construct the “V” in the logotype.
